Fabricademy Bootcamp 2022
This year, our annual Bootcamp will take place in Geneva, from 6-12 of June 2022 and will be hosted at Fab Lab Onl’fait Geneva in collaboration with MACO.
During the course, participants will explore new possibilities and alternatives to the current textile and clothing manufacturing systems guided by Fabricademy, textile and fashion designers and invited artits and makers from all over the world.
They will have the opportunity to experiment digital fabrication technologies and traditional processes, biofabricating colors and materials using living bacteria and food waste, crafting soft sensors for wearable applications and discovering the city of Geneva visiting museums and current exhibition related to the topics of the week.

Fab Lab Information
Onl’fait and the MACO are located in an Industrial Zone of Geneva and supermarkets are about 7 minutes walk away.
MACO & Onl’fait Geneva are the center of the bootcamp activities and are open to public from 10h00 to 19h00 from Tuesday to Saturday.
Participants of the Bootcamp are welcome to use the co-working space, the coffee corner (coffee machine, microwave oven, mugs, etc.) and the external common spaces. In the co-working space, they are allowed to talk and use the MACO wi-fi, just respecting the needs of silence of other people around.
The Salle Polyvalente is reserved for the participants from 9h00 to 19h00 during the Bootcamp. A kitchen equipped with coffee machines is available as well as external tables for eating and chilling.
The Fabrique and the Ressourcerie are open to visit for the participants. They only have access to the machines if supervised by Onl’fait team.
