- 14:00-16:00 Leather Molding
- 16:00-18:00 Focus Groups
- 18:00-22:00 Round Table
Activities
- Parametric Design and Digital Craft
The use of 3D modelling and parametric design is essencial to work with CNC machines and digital fabrication processes to fabricate digital designs. During the activity, participants are introduced to grasshopper parametric design and they will learn the basics of how to design their parametric molds for the CNC milling machine.
- Leather Molding
The hands-on activity focuses on exploring the techniques between digital fabrication and craftsmanship, learning how to shape and harden leather. Participants will experiment and blend ancient techniques with digital fabrication tools and processes to fabricate different kinds of artifacts.
- Focus Groups
Researching and experimenting together. Participants will ideate & develop a project in a team along with experts and participants around the topics tackled in the program and during the week.
- Round Table
Open lecture with local and international experts around the topics of Sustainability, Industry 4.0, Circular economy and Wearable Technology for textiles and beyond.
Materials
- Leather
- Vegetable tanned leather
