The annual Bootcamp 2026 will take place in Dundalk, Ireland from 25h to 30th of May and will be hosted at Creative Spark Fab Lab.
During the course, participants will explore new possibilities and alternatives to the current textile and clothing manufacturing systems guided by Fabricademy, textile and fashion designers invited artits and makers from all over the world.
They will have the opportunity to experiment with digital fabrication technologies and traditional processes, biofabricating colors and materials using living bacteria and food waste, crafting soft sensors for wearable applications.
During the week they will have the possibility to experiment closely with international experts and local communities, discover Belgiums’s unique sites, museums and current exhibitions related to the topics of the Bootcamp.

Creative Spark Fab Lab, Dundalk
Creative Spark, centre for creativity and innovation, launched in October 2012 with the goal of providing dedicated creative training and workspace facilities for new and established enterprises in County Louth – a place to work and a place to learn.

Fab Lab Information
The Enterprise FabLab at Creative Spark is the main location of the Bootcamp. Creative hub aiming to stimulate enterprise, creativity, innovation and education in the North-East region of Ireland.

Enterprise FabLab space offers a variety of technologies and processes including laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC routers, electronic workbench, vinyl cutters and power tools where members can design, rapidly prototype and fabricate under one roof.
Members can access: Digital fabrication equipment, Workspace area for design and desk work, Workbench area for fabrication and assembly process.




Creative Spark Print Studio
Creative Spark Print Studio is a non-profit 24 hour access printmaking workshop and visual artists’ resource organisation, committed to providing facilities and opportunities to emerging and established visual artists. The studio aims to provide membership to creative practitioners from Louth and the border areas.

Creative Spark Downtown Hub

Launched in May 2022, the Creative Spark Downtown Hub is a dedicated remote working facility in Dundalk’s town centre. A secondary location to our main centre in Muirhevnamor, this hub is dedicated to providing space, training and supports to our occupants and members in Dundalk and the wider North-East region.
