OBJECTIVES¶
This workshop aims at introducing beginners to 3D modeling and textile simulation in Clo3D. The aim is implement digital prototyping and simulation in the fashion and textile industry.

Learning Outcomes:

Understand how 3D modeling and digital design can help the design and fabrication process of textiles and cloths
- Get better orientation and experience 3D environment using prepared exercises
- Prepare your own garment
- Basics of rendering and constructing a 3D model
Target audience and contexts of use
Students with an interest in textiles, art school teachers. If participants don't have basic knowledge of the 3D software or no experience with rendering.
Recommended number of participants: online participants 25, 10 in person

Host - Žil Julie Vostalová - a 3D Fashion Designer based in Prague. Her interest lies in capturing the momentum of transition between digital and physical words. She gave us an introduction to zero waste pattern making in respect to material function and digital prototyping.
