GOAL¶
Female Entrepreneur Mixer is an aperitif dedicated to female entrepreneurship, but open to all, where experienced female entrepreneurs from the district and young start-ups from the world of sustainable fashion meet with the aim of helping each other and creating new connections. The aim is to create a very informal setting where people can relax and get to know each other without the many social constructs which often limit females careers.

TEAM ROLES¶
We recommend at least 6/7 people to run the activity, in particular:
- Facilitator/ Moderator
- 3/4 people to set up the stage and room, the food and drinks
- Observer: Someone taking notes, writing down the interesting information
- Documenting the process: pictures & videos (don't forget to have the consent forms signed)
PREPs¶

DOs AND DON’T ?¶
- Since the participants are not getting paid, confirm the participation multiple times in the days leading up to the event
- Take the time to explain carefully what the project is about, its objectives and its expected results study the entrepreneurs and understand if they fit well together before inviting
TIPS AND TRICKS ?¶
- Have a previous conversation with the participants to ensure they are comfortable with public speaking and she understands the dynamics and the objectives
- Have them sign the consent forms as soon as they arrive
AGENDA¶

- Presentation of the upcoming female entrepreneurs and launch of one challenge per participant (5 min each)

1 - Arrival and introductions (10 min)¶
Introduce yourselves, the Shemakes project, its objectives and its expected results. if you have any guests (we had 3 other textile and fashion labs) introduce them. Thank the public for the participation
2 - Presentation of the established female entrepreneurs (15 min each)¶
Introduce each guest individually with 2 or 3 prepared sentences relating to the career. Give the stage to the established female entrepreneurs and let them do a complete overview of their business journey, ask them to bring a presentation or just a variety of slides with photos of the products or activities of their business. if they get stuck as strategic questions otherwise do not interrupt the presentation.
Take pictures and photos, both professionals and for social media.
3 - Presentation of the upcoming female entrepreneurs and launch of one challenge per participant (5 min each)¶
Introduce each guest individually but just by giving the name, give the stage to the upcoming brand or female designer/entrepreneurs and let them do a concise overview of their activity,, ask them to bring a presentation or just a small quanity of slides with photos of the products or activities of their business so the public has a visual idea of what we are talking about. Be decisive about the time, have an alarm go off at 4 minutes and interrupt at 5 minutes to ask the participants to launch the challenge

4 - Final remarks (5 min)¶
Briefly sum up the activities up to this point and the proposed challenges, remind the audience that they can stay for drinks and standing dinner and that the purpose is to interact and to help the brands solve their respective issues.
5 - Mixer (2/3 hours)¶
All participants get the chance to talk, mix and mingle, with a drink and some food served as a standing dinner.
