Bootcamp FAQ

    • Who is it for?

    • Students and Professionals, Designers, Makers, craftsman, artists, digital fabrication experts and curious minds.

    • All the materials are included?

    • Yes, the bootcamp fee includes all the materials and the use of all lab equipment. You can bring additional materials if you want to experiment with.

  • What will I learn?

    • You will learn how to lasercut seamless garments, biofabricating colors and materials, crafting soft sensors for e-textiles and wearables applicatons, learning about 3D printing for fashion, experimenting with tufting and new processes, blending several digital fabrication technologies with local crafts techniques..

  • Will I get any certificate?

    • Yes, we will provide you with the Fabricademy Certificate of Attendance.

  • Do I have to know something before coming?

    • No. A basic knowledge in textiles, biomaterials and digital fabrication or knitting will make your experience more interesting.

  • Does the Bootcamp prepare me for the Fabricademy course?

    • Yes, the Bootcamp is the best way to get introduced to the fabricademy content and get prepared for the full program starting in September.

  • What if I have to cancel my reservation?

    • Full refunds, minus bank fees, will be issued for cancellations made 60 days before the event. For cancellations made less than 60 days in advance, the refund is partial and will be determined based on the number of days prior to the event when the cancellation is submitted.

  • Can you issue an invoice for my company?

    • Yes. Make sure to provide all the necessary information including company name, address, tax ID, at the moment you register.
